This lamp can command a room. You should decorate a room around this lamp, actually. Impressed with Virginia Creeper leaves on the vine, with red clay “berry” accents, it is glazed in a rich amber celadon with red iron oxide on the churchkey pattern at shoulder and base. The hexagonal shade is made of sheeted amber mica by Sue Johnson, of Berkeley, CA. She has matched the glaze perfectly with the shade’s piping, and further enhanced the shade with dried maidenhair fern. Truly an heirloom. 19″ tall (the base alone is 9.5″). The shade is 17″ from corner to corner, and 15″ from flat side to flat side.
