This shallow bowl/platter was made to be a patio table-top bird bath, but would just as easily serve as a fruit and cheese tray, a shallow bread bowl, or what-have-you.  The birds resting on the rim make great handles.   Glazed in celadon/black with red berries, it has an  impression of Rough Avens (!).  At least that’s the best identification I could come up with in “Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide” with only the leaves to go on.    It measures 12″ diameter, and 14.5″ from tail to tail of the birds.  It’s 3″ high to the tail of the bird from the table top. SOLD, Orders welcome, with different botanical.
