In the fable, a crow sees something it wants floating on the surface of water deep deep down in a well. It brings rock after rock to drop into the well, thus patiently raising the water level to where it can reach the object it desires floating on the surface. Or something like that. In fables, they usually use more poetic language. I hope my vase captures something of that poetry, or at least the curiosity of the crow. What’s down there? 10″ tall by 5.25″ diameter.
