Most normal people identify wildflowers by their flowers; I identify them by their leaf shapes, and sometimes never see their flowers. Now, I DO know Jack in the Pulpit flowers, in all of their over-sexed glory—but I also love the shape and veining of their tri-part leaves. Here is a simple, medium-sized celadon bowl with Jack in the Pulpit leaves rimmed with a red-iron oxide washed border of points. It is 3” deep and 10” in diameter. Entirely food and dishwasher safe.
