A wheel-thrown stoneware tree is pierced so that a garland of light can glow through when a candle is placed inside.  Glazed in moss green celadon (trees are green, right?), with a painted gold knob and a glazed red bird, this piece makes an excellent holiday decoration.  It comes with a matching plate to hold the candle drips, in case you decide to use real candles instead of those battery operated ones.  I have two, sold separately, same price.  Between 9″ and 10″ tall, the plates are 6.75″ and 6.25″ in diameter.  The smaller plate has a red underside.  Only the first person to buy gets to specify which one they want.
