Atop this wheel-thrown stoneware jar in classic mid-century modern shape sits a hand-sculpted owl–a visitor to the piece more than of the piece.  Polypody ferns with spores are impressed on the body of the pot, glazed in light cornflower blue and accented with dark blue clay “berries” (which, by the way, have nothing botanically to do with Polypody ferns).  Black trim.  11″ tall by 5″ diameter.
