Description

An intricate pattern of points made by pressing the tip of a churchkey into still-wet clay covers most of this lidded jar.  The churchkey pattern is treated with a red iron-oxide wash, and is set off with black glaze at the base and shoulder of the piece, and on the loop knob with a tiny bird perched upon it.  If you have a lot of secrets, this is the jar to keep them in.  10.5” tall by 6” in diameter. $495.
