Pokeweed is one of my favorite unlovable plants to use for impressions in my pottery in the late-fall here in Virginia.  It grows to up to 8 or 9 feet tall (fully 3-4 feet taller than I am), and has weirdly irregular leaves with deep veins and pushes out clusters of deep purple, poisonous berries.  What’s not to like??  Anyway, here is a large statement platter featuring pokeweed and red (poetic leave) berries.  13.25″ diameter by 2.5″ deep.
