I call it a soup bowl, but it is generous enough to serve snacks or a big heap of oatmeal for breakfast. It could be a candy bowl. It could be anything bowl-ish that you want it to be. Wheel thrown stoneware with the impression of the leaf of the rattlesnake root plant (also known, more blandly, as wild lettuce). The wide rim is treated in red iron oxide, the inside is moss celadon glaze, and the outside is black. Dishwasher and food safe, but the rim is somewhat delicate. 8.5″ diameter by 3″ deep.
