Ukrainian Pottery Spoon with Hearts
Slava Ukraini! In an effort to support Ukraine’s independent artisans and small shops, I have brought in a variety of Ukranian handicrafts directly from Ukraine.
This hand-built spoon is decorated in the maiolica technique with a smattering of tiny red hearts.
”I never glaze the entire product. The part of the product that is not covered with glaze is glazed with milk in the one of the oldest local eco friendly techniques. This technology makes the dishes pleasant to the touch. It's important for me that you use dishes daily,” writes Iulia.
Safe for the microwave, but not for the dishwasher.
This little spoon is 6.75” long.
