Horse Nettle Small Table Lamp in Amber with Red Berries

$850.00

Horse nettle is a noxious weed with prickers that grows in dry fields that most livestock won’t eat. But, as a member of the nightshade family, it has really pretty flowers. I braved the prickers to make this lamp. Glazed in amber celadon with red clay “berry” accents. The church-key pattern at base and shoulder is brushed with a red iron oxide wash. The hexagonal mica shade is a one-of-a-kind from Sue Johnson in Berkeley, CA. If you wish to purchase the lamp without the shade, the price is $660. Please call me to arrange.

  • 18” tall to tip of finial. Shade is 17” from corner to corner.
